The Building Extension Mutual Fund Committee provides building loans, including bridging loans, and technical advice to Churches of Christ across South Australia and the Northern Territory. Funding is available for church building redevelopment works through the Mutual Fund, the Building Extension Fund and other minor Funds.

Churches and church members have the opportunity of supporting the work of the Mutual Fund by depositing funds to the Mutual Fund at favourable terms and conditions.

Within its membership the Committee maintains expertise to enable it to freely offer a consultative service to churches over as wide a range of building-related disciplines as possible. As part of the Committee's succession planning, churches are actively invited to submit names of suitably qualified persons interested in participating on the Committee.

The Committee appreciates and acknowledges the assistance provided by the staff at the State Office in the financial administration of the Mutual Fund, the Building Extension Fund and other Funds managed by the Committee.

The BEMF Committee acknowledges and commends the ongoing support of the many faithful Mutual Fund depositors. The Fund has facilitated the completion of numerous building projects, over many years, that otherwise may not have been possible.

i. Churches of Christ in SA and NT (both individual Churches, the State body and Conference Departments) will benefit in connection from the scheme by way of loans for capital works and motor vehicles;
